Season 3 - Exile and Phoenix

I have put these episodes together since they were actually like one long episode.Well I know there is a lot of things to cover in this season opener,but being that I am gay and love Tom Welling.I have to start this post off with how smoking hot he was in this one.From his longer hair to all the shirtless scenes, I was just speechless throughout. ;O)

O.k now on to what all happen , first off I can't say that it wouldn't be cool to be able to do some of the stuff Kal (Clark on Red K) did.I know that probably sounds bad , but I can't lie to you.Don't worry I am not going to go robbing any banks or make any deals with crime bosses, but I do love Kal's style.lol

You could definitely see how much the Kent's loved Clark in this one also.For Johnathan to make a deal with Jor-El to get Clark back and the whole "Would you be willing to do anything" that Jor-El said.More consequences will surely be coming from that pact and you know having that much strength as a mortal human can't be good.

I guess I have an evil side myself, because when Lex turned the tables on Helen.I have to admit I was all behind him with it, let somebody leave me in a plane to die.Oh yeah I would be making them pay to.

I also thought it was cool when Clark blew up the tank and in Lionel's eyes made it look like Morgan Edge had set him up.Maybe I am overlooking something with this , but how much could the Kent's still owe on their farm.I mean Martha had made the comment that it had been in Johnathan's family for 3 generations , 4 including Clark.So in all that time they couldn't pay it off, I guess they were figuring it with different loans they had to take against it over time.

It was cool though how Lex bought it outright for the Kent's for the fact that Johnathan had gave him the compass and Lex said it's what helped save him on the island.

Episode 23 - Exodus

I have seen many people criticize when it comes to Clark rejecting his destiny and Jor-El in this , among many other episodes.Myself I can see why a teenage boy (Alien or Not) that is raised to care about his family and friends would want to choose to deny someone new (Jor-El) coming into his world and telling him how he has to live out the rest of his life.

So in an attempt to rid himself from all of this new drama.He tries to destroy the ship and he does, but of course not without consequences.I had really hoped that Martha would be able to bring a brother for Clark into the world, but as we see in this episode Jor-El will not be defied by his son.Which does give us a taste of how powerful Kryptonian's really are.

Now on to Lex and the wedding day he won't soon forget.Starting the day off in a Chapel and ending it, waking up in a plane plowing down into the Ocean.Also noticing that his new bride and the pilot are missing.Added to the fact that the plane had been obviously sabotaged with all the controls being gutted like a fish.

Oh and Chloe goes and makes a deal with the devil..literally.I understand she is upset with Clark right now, but to investigate Clark for Lionel.I guess you really need to put yourself in these characters positions though before you can honestly judge their actions.I mean in Chloe's eyes as well as Lana's, there has always been that distance that Clark has shown around them.So in that context, she is not able to think as rationally as we would want her to be.

Finally, I really felt for Clark and his need to escape.There is only so much you can handle in the guilt department and Clark just couldn't feel like he was hurting all the people in his life that he loves anymore.So Clark does what most people would do when trying to medicate the pain away.Except in Clark's case he substitutes drugs,alcohol etc. for Red K and heads on out into the sunset.So ends another great season and being that I have already seen all of them.They only get better and better from here on out.Season 3 here we come....

Epsiode 22 - Calling

So now with this episode that is appropriately named Calling , we get to see more of a glimpse of Clark's destiny.With Dr. Walden coming out of his catatonic state to deliver the message that the day is coming to Clark hearing the voice of his biological father Jor-El.Also we see Lex and his father's interest in the caves,Clark and everything related increase once Dr. Walden tell them that it is Clark that is the Last son of Krypton that will rule the planet.

Off that subject for a minute and on to the pending nuptials between Lex and Helen Bryce.Although Daddy Lionel tried to pay her (according to her and Lionel) to stay away from Lex.Among other problems such as her psycho Ex and Lex's secretive ways, the wedding seems to be going as scheduled.So being a Clana fan I did love Clark's toast to Lex and Helen at their rehearsal dinner and how with Clark looking at Lana as he made the toast making it have a double meaning in the way he feels toward Lana.

Then we see poor Chloe and how she is able to see that a gift from a Luther, is never actually just a gift.Lionel really knows how to stike just when people are at their most vulnerable ..don't he?I did love the exchange between Lionel and the doctor that informed him about how something (The Key) protected Dr. Walden's hand after he was fried to a golden crisp.She says look how it protected his hand, in which Lionel replies sent it to me..the Dr replies..what?..his hand..in a like Duh kinda voice, gotta love it.

Last but not least is the bitter sweet ending with Clark and Lana admitting to each other that they did not want their feelings to be a secret anymore.Sadly Chloe happened to witness this and since she also shares a romantic interest for Clark, it just was too much for her to take.My heart really goes out to Chloe and how she can't help that she loves her best friend.I have encountered this in my own life and I think she portrayed the emotions you feel when this happens..perfectly.So now that Clark is on top of the world , of course you know it makes it prime time for something to catch him off guard.That being Jor-El once again calling out to him saying Kal-El it is time and the storm cellar glowing from the light of Clark's ship.How will this all play out you may ask...well it is now once again my favorite time as it is time for the finale.So I am off to watch it now and I hope you guys will be back to read and comment on what I thought of it.Take care everyone and thanks again for stopping by and reading my blog.

Smallville Season 7 is almost Here!!!

O.k anybody that reads my blog knows how I am about my Smallville.Well this Thursday the 27th, is the start of what looks to be an excellent season and I am starting to feel that Christmas feeling I told you guys about in earlier blogs.lol

The only sad thing is that there seems to be a shortage of Promo Pics for this season.I always look forward to seeing how the different cast members have changed over the summer.At least they did give us Promo pictures of Kara "Supergirl" and you can see them at my Tom Welling Blog.

Episode 21 - Accelerate

Could you imagine someone you thought was dead coming back like Emily did in this episode?I always thought the writing on Smallville was very creative and this episode was more proof of that .I have to agree with Lex where he was talking about how it was an amazing accomplishment in how they were able to clone Emily.Only bad thing is about the no conscience and of course the accelerated growth rate.Maybe this was the start of something in Lex's thinking that affects what he does in upcoming seasons.(Season 6 Reference)

As you know I am a fan of Lana, as well as all the other cast members on the show.Well particularly Lana in this episode because of having to deal with yet another traumatic event from her past.I can't even imagine loosing your best friend at the age of 10 years old.At any age it would be horrible,but especially a child having to go through it.Like Chloe said about Clark not knowing that Lana sometimes cried in the middle of the night.Who knows how it would shape you as a person if most of your experiences is people leaving you and also loosing them to death.

That's one of the reasons I have always loved Lana.For the fact that she makes it through all these obstacles and still finds ways to be strong and try to make the best of what life throws at her.I also loved the ending with how Lana finally broke through her fears about Clark and said that she should be putting more trust in him.After he was telling her that nothing could change the way he looks at her and the way he feels for her.

Episode 20 - Witness

Here is another case of an obsessed person trying to get ahead with the help of the very popular green meteor rocks.I this case it's Eric (Zachary Ty Bryan) and his two buddies using a meteor induced cocktail that they consume by way of an inhaler.Interesting though is that they are getting there shipments by way of stealing them from none other than Lionel Luther..Hummm

Of course their evil plans may have worked, but not if Clark has anything to say about it.Being a Witness though,they couldn't let him live to tell all about it.Luckily for us though ,not even putting him in a blazing inferno would stop our hero from stopping evil.

I had to throw this pic in here to because...well duh...it's Hot!! lol

I thought it took a lot of courage for Lana to abandon her hopes and dreams of getting to know her recently discovered father.So that he could try and repair his marriage,but unfortunately for Lana it is the last time she would see him. (At least as far as we ever see on the show).
Oh if we could have just jumped through the screen and told Chloe..What Are you doing!!!!She should have known when the devil himself gives you something, he's going to always come back to collect.

Episode 19 - Precipice

Now wasn't that just so nice of Lex to offer to help Lana train to defend herself.You can't tell me at this point in time that you did not see an alterer motive brewing in the complex mind of Lex Luther with this offer.At least Lana did get some good defense skills out of it.

So as you know a town can not operate without a Sheriff and after Sheriff Ethan's shady dealings tarnishing the name.Who better to straighten up things in this town ,but newly appointed Sheriff Adams (Camille Mitchell).One thing we learn about the new sheriff is that she is going to be on top of everything and everyone including Clark.

Don't you just hate it when an old boyfriend/girlfriend from your past just re-appears when you least expect it?Even more so in Helen's case when the boyfriend in question is a psychopath.

Episode 18 - Visitor

This is the pure example of how Clark is truly Superman.The way at the start of this episode,how he tries to defend outsider Cyrus from the bullies.Oh and I so loved it when he made the board engulf in flames.How I wish I could have done that in high school and the stain marks it would have made in some well deserved pants of idiots I had to deal with.lol

How sad and wonderful Cyrus was with his ability to heal and tragically it was what also drained and killed him in the end.That shows what a true hero is ,in my opinion.Even passing up what he believed to be his parents returning for him.

The other storyline of the show revolved around surprise,surprise the trust issues with Lex and Helen.Finally Lex did give in and let Helen see the one room and secret that had kept hidden.To say Lex was a little obsessed with Clark and the Kent's would have been a serious understatement.Don't you think it's funny how even the characters we don't really know everything about, always tries to protect the Kent's and Clark when it is all said and done.In this case, Helen not telling Lex about the blood she had taken from Clark.

Episode 17 - Rosetta

Now we are getting to the good stuff in this season.First Clark getting dreams/visions of him inserting the key in the cave wall and then the key calling out to him.Then burning the kryptonian symbol on the barn.Showing that no matter how hard he tries,he can not escape his destiny.

One thing I love about Smallville is how they weave famous people like Superman himself Christopher Reeve in as a somewhat eccentric professor.To help Clark unravel what all the weird stuff that has been happening to him means.

Epsiode 16 - Fever

I could see why Martha thought she had to hide the key to the ship.I mean all she wants to do is protect her son from the mysteries of his destiny.Of course she don't want her son to leave her and his father,but more than that.She don't want him to step into anything that may lead to trouble for him.

Poor Chloe found out the hard way that the heart is stronger than the mind.When she poured her heart out to Clark while he was passed out from the fever and called out Lana's name.Like I said before about pinning away for someone you can't have, your heart can't help who it loves.Which ironically is exactly how Clark feels about Lana.

Luckily they get the ship to the Hospital and it heals them all from the fever.Now wouldn't that be really cool and sure save us all from huge Hospital bills,if it was real.lol

Episode 15 - Prodigal

So in this one we finally get to see the prodigal son of Lionel Luther and brother to Lex.What a big surprise to us (sarcastic) that the apple doesn't fall to far from the tree with the way Lucas acts and reacts to the world.lol
Lucas uncovers that Lionel is not really blind anymore and also with the help of Lex.Proves where Lionel's loyalty lies in which son he would save if it came down to him choosing.

O.k not that Clark's rescuing someone is not reason enough to mention,but there are more to me posting these pics.As you might have noticed, I am a lover of everything Tom Welling and it seems that Clark was going commando in these sceens and thankfully they still made it through the editing process.

Episode 14 - Rush

Now we get to see the down fall for Clark about someone knowing his secret.As was stated in earlier episodes of what a burden it would be to know a secret so big.I definitely understand Clark's dilemma though and why he had to tell Pete.It's just that as we see in this episode how much of a burden it is for Pete.After he's infected he seems to use all the knowledge about Clark against him.With using both red and green meteor rocks on him and threatening to expose his secret.

I have to say that Chloe always cracks me up when she is infected.I don't mean that I think she's necessarily funny.I am saying because I am happy she is getting to let all her pent up wants and desires.The same way I told you guys about the way I love Clark when he is on Red K.It was great getting to see the look on her face when she found out about Clark, even though she never remembered any of it.

Once again the pitfalls of being Clark Kent is never getting to be completely honest with people.How over and over he has to keep disappointing almost everybody close to him and mainly the one he is in love with , Lana.

Episode 13 - Suspect

Like a great who done it movie, this one was very cool in my opinion.I mean what better suspense then to try and figure out which person would shoot down Lionel Luther.I think that there would only be a very few people both in Smallville and probably the world that wouldn't have a motive.lol.So taking a look at the main suspects...

Johnathan Kent was the primary suspect and with good reason.I mean he has never shied away from telling each and everybody that he knows and meets,about his hatred toward the Luthers.Then having many witnesses attesting to seeing the anger the day he was shot.Then the smoking gun of the police finding him, supposedly drunk,passed out with a gun in his hand.If not for Clark, I think Johnathan would have been a goner.

Of course you could have seen Lex doing it,being so tired of his father's constant manipulations.Lionel had just went and pushed Lex to far this time and he was the one,but then there's ...

Dominique and how he could have done it with him feeling in danger of loosing his ranking and worth with Lionel and Luther Corp...but I was sad to see that it turned out to be...

Ethan...oh man I couldn't believe that Ethan could be driven to any means to frame Johnathan for Lionel's shooting.I understand after Ethan's talk with Lionel in the limousine,that he would be angry enough to kill.Just not putting it all off on your so called best friend.

Episode 12 - Insurgence

Once again we are educated on the Luther family values in this episode.Lionel bugging his own sons house and spying on him.Of course never being beat by his father, Lex then turns the tables on him.Sadly though in Martha's case it would be on a day she didn't call in sick to work and on her Anniversary at that.

As you know in any Drama, no one can be totally happy or else it wouldn't be called a drama.That is definitely the case for Lana once again in this episode.Growing up without her parents and then finding out that her father is not the man she thought and is alive.Even better they actually had a shot at having a relationship , but not if Lana's evil stepmother(Jennifer) had anything to do with it.

Oh and now if we didn't have our suspicions about Lionel wanting to know everything about Clark,The Kent's and the effects of meteor rocks.We definitely know for sure now and the lengths he would go through to prove it.With the file on Clark and the meteor shaped bars and no telling what else.How cool was it when Martha swipes the key and Clark's fast thinking in torching Lionel's files, after she told Clark about them.

Episode 11 - Visage

At first glance I thought , oh great now the three way drama with Lana,Whitney and Clark is starting up again.I mean yes Whitney is a hero and defended our country, but the love between Lana and him had already been put to a rest.Needless to say that wasn't the case at all though in this episode.Lana having to try and put everything on hold because of thinking that Whitney had lost a lot of his memories and she needed to support him through his transition back.

Only to find out that it was none other than everybody's favorite obsessed nut job Tina Greer.I mean this girl takes obsession to a whole other level.Accidentally killing her mother in the past episode and then a innocent solider in this one.To try and cover up anything and everything to be with Lana.
Can you imagine how much you could really mess with somebody's head.First she was Whitney, then Chloe,Johnathan and finally Clark.I don't mean this in a bad way,but with all the "mild concussions" and obsessed meteor freaks.It is any wonder that Lana don't have a lifetime membership to Bell Reeve.

Episode 10 - Skinwalker

I have always thought that there are a lot of mysteries in the world.In all cultures and beliefs there are folk tales,myths and unbelievable stories.We have all heard ghost stories and wondered ,could they be true??Well the point of me saying all this is because of the native stories in this episode that made a total connection between Clark and the tribe's savior "Naman".How do we know for sure in the real world that some of those so called tall tales was not true.

Finally we start getting a glimpse of Clark's quest toward finding out about where he came from and the mysteries in his life.Sadly it always seems though that anybody Clark is able to befriend and have a close connection with,ends up leaving one way or another.I think I figured out the first time I watched it that Kyla was the wolf, but hated it for Clark.

Of course you would know that the Luthers would want their hands in anything that sounded out of the norm.Wouldn't you know that the caves would be buried under property the Luther Corp owned.So Clark could not even investigate them without Lex and Lionel lurking over his shoulder.

O.k as I have said before about Tom Welling and shirtless pics...I love them and wanted to share this one for those like me.lol

Episode 9 - Dichotic

O.k I have to start by saying that I have always dreamed I could have a clone of myself.I don't mean to use it for double timing two people or getting an academic achievement , but with all the stuff I have to do on a daily basis.I might actually be able to take some time off or even better..sleep.lol

O.k I could see both sides of this situation between Clark, Lana and Chloe.I mean on one hand Clark does have to realize that they will not always be there and they have other things to do in their lives.On the other hand though, Lana and Chloe really should cut Clark a break.In the way like Lana stated in an earlier episode -He's not always there when you want him, but he is always there when you need him.Meaning Clark is always saving their butt from all kinds of dangers.
What about Lex going Postal on the meter maid ..pent up frustration much??Then the introduction of Helen Bryce and what seems like a perfect match up.Can she be what Lex needs to calm his troubled mind?
I did love the last part when Clark,Lana and Chloe finally set the ground rules for their friendship.Just the look on their (Lana,Chloe) faces shown they had mixed feelings about really just being friends.

Episode 8 - Ryan

I have to admit this one was a tear jerker for me.The bond that Ryan and Clark share is just priceless and I always wished I had that growing up.Wasn't it the best when Clark just zoomed up in there and rescued him from SummerHolt.

I have said it before and I will say it again on how nice it would be to have the kind of money and power the Luthers have.Lex really impressed me the way he just walked up and shut the docter from Summerholt down.
I also loved the way that Ryan casually told Martha that he knew she was pregnant.Now I don't know about you, but I didn't see that one coming.lol.As you know the reasons are revealed in later episodes why she kept it a secret, but at this time you would have thought she would have been shouting it from the rooftops.

I so loved the determination with Clark and trying to find a way to save Ryan.Even when everybody around him was telling him to just accept fate, Clark wouldn't have it.After this part is when the water works started for me.

When Ryan told Clark that it was so loud and Clark once again braved his fear of heights to make Ryan's wish come true.This is what makes Clark not only a Hero ,but a Super Hero in my book.

Episode 7 - Lineage

You have to give credit to Rachel Dunleavy (Blair Brown) for her determination in trying to find her son.Of course in Smallville that is always mixed with a bit of craziness.lol.I tell you with every episode we can see how many lives the Luthers have really messed up.I mean Lionel had her sent away and to a asylum at that!!

One of the things that draws people to the Luthers though is their charm and charisma.I mean after all the stuff Lionel had put Rachel through and he almost was able to pull the wool over her eyes again.Can you only imagine how many secrets that man has in that twisted mind and even after going on 7 seasons , we probably don't know have of them.

I thought it very cool to see a glimpse back at more of the story of meteor shower and the explanation of why there was so much bad blood between the Luthers and Kents.Clark even showed how much he cares about people back then, when he reached over and touched Lex's face.
Surprise, surprise we learn at the end the Lionel of course has lied about Lucas being dead.You got to wonder if Lionel has ever told the truth about anything...probably not.lol

Episode 6 - Redux

Talk about trying to stay young forever, but this is a little extreme.I mean who would even suspect such a pretty girl could do so much damage.As you know though it seems many people is obsessed with one thing or another in this so called small peaceful town.I would hate to be so self involved that I didn't care about who I hurt to get what I wanted out of life.

I thought it was really great of Clark to try and mend fences between his Grandfather and his Dad.He just wants so much to have that feeling of strong family bond.Of course when dealing with two stubborn people like them, it's going to be a uphill battle.That's another one of Clark's attributes I love, his ability to always rise to any challenge to make things right with the world.

O.k I had to post these pics because of the fact that I always love seeing episodes with Clark/Tom Shirtless.Even me and a good friend joke about it on myspace, that all episodes should have Clark shirtless at least once.lol.I mean look at him, he's the most gorgeous man ever!!!

Episode 5 - Nocturne

Could you only imagine what poor Byron had to be feeling all those years.To be locked up and never get to be in the daylight and around other people.I thought it was cool though that he found a connection because of Lana's late night visits to the cemetery and her parent's graves.

Wouldn't you know that the first day on the job with Lionel, Martha gets to see what she will be dealing with probably more then she ever wanted to.People trying to kill him because of all the evil things he has caused to so many in Smallville.

Episode 4 - Red

O.k something you should know about me is that I am a diehard Red K fan (Red Kryptonite).The reason being that I always feel bad for Clark getting dumped on all the time and just having to take it.He saves all the people he cares about and most of the time still gets the crappy end of the deal.So I love to see Clark get to show and tell the emotions that he has to bottle up inside.

It was great to see him in the scenes with Lana and how he told her exactly how he felt about her.You can not tell me that Lana didn't secretly love it as well.Especially when he told Lana to ask him anything and Lana asked him about seeing him in the truck the day of the tornadoes.It really showed how much Clark wants to tell her everything in my opinion.

Of course with any good points , there are always some bad as well.Although I love the fact that Clark gets to speak his true feelings, I hate that the drawbacks of it is that he also has a twist of evil mixed in.In the way that he threw his dad against the truck and threatening Jessies's father for the disk.

Episode 3 - Duplicity

We knew it would happen at some point and who better to be the first to know about Clark's secret (Not including the meteor infected in that). I mean he is Clark's best male friend and they have grew up together.I guess I can relate so well with Clark because of being looked at as different growing up.Of course I didn't have the perks of having special abilities, but being gay I always felt somewhat isolated from everybody.I didn't come out until I was 17 , so I know what it's like to have to keep a secret that eats you up inside and fearing how people would react if they knew who you really are.

Luckily for Clark and Pete was able to come past it and reaffirm how close of friends the really are.Only bad part of course is how much responsibility it is now on Pete to keep such a huge secret.

Episode 2 - Heat

I have to say that I loved this episode and Clark's coming of age..haha.I thought that was brilliant to have Clark get his newest ability by way of the first time he really got aroused by looking at a a.Scary thought if you would think about most guys and how they stay horny 24/7 haha.There wouldn't be anything left in the world , if that was the case.lol

Think about having this kind of power over someone.I mean I think we would all enjoy being able to tell a loved one to take out the trash or cook dinner.Just not to the point of tricking someone into marrying you,turning all their friends against them and even worst getting someone to kill for you.

Season 2 - Episode 1 - Vortex

Wow like I said about finales also holds true with me with season premieres,I just get so excited.So wasn't it the best when Clark jumped into the tornado to rescue Lana ,talk about a true hero.I loved the expression on Lana's face when she saw him to, I mean just think about how freaky that would be.lol.

I really loved the parts between Johnathan and Nixon.The best line to me was when Johnathan told Roger Nixon ( when Johnathan had found a way out.) that he needs to choose what's most important to him exposing Clark's secret or his Life and then Johnathan said I have.(Priceless)

You know it had to kill Lex to have to kill Roger Nixon, with Lex thinking that he knew something about Clark.It was cool to see Johnathan thank Lex and offer a fresh new start, but will Lex keep his end of the friendship?

I really felt bad for Chloe and her not getting to have her dream prom with Clark.I just hate to see Chloe sad because she seems like the friend I always wish I had.Also I know how it feels to love someone that doesn't feel the same way, as I am sure most people have encountered at some point in their life.

You really couldn't blame Lex for his decision with his father.If you were faced with the same situation ,who knows how you would react. Of course Lionel spared no time in making sure to guilt Lex on his choice.Just another example of Lionel trying to make Lex feel tormented for any decision he makes.Like it wasn't bad enough for Lex to know that his decision lead to his father's blindness.

Season 1 Finale - Tempest

Well folks I have made it to the first finale with the Blog.Hope you have been enjoying it so far and thanks to Monika for all the great comments.I wish I could do them faster, but unfortunately with my work schedule I can only do them here and there.lol. Well one thing that I always look forward to is the finales of Smallville.It is like Christmas for me because of how great they always are.From start to finish , you are glued to the screen.Of course all of us diehard Smallville fans are doing that each week.lolDid anybody see that coming when Lionel walks up and tells all the workers that they are out of a job.Even worst blaming it all on Lex and making it out like Lex ran it into the ground.I know I was blindsided by this and figured something was up, just not that.

That was a nice part when Whitney surprised Lana with the picnic.To only find out though that he is leaving for the marines.Even though you can see from the past episodes how much she has been having feelings for Clark.You know she still had a lot of feelings for Whitney and I sure wouldn't want to break up with someone before they shipped out either.lol

O.k although it was awful to see Clark get blown up in the truck.I will have to say that the horndog in me loved the part after where Clark has to rip his shirt off.What about Roger Nixon and the lengths he will go to to get his story.I don't care if you have a suspicion about someone, you do not blow them up to prove it.

The best parts was as usual towards the end and did not disappoint.I tell you when someone in Smallville is in danger of losing their lives, they are in a big way.With not only one twister, but three forming one heading straight for Lana.The Luther Mansion crumbling right on top of Lex and Lionel.

Episode 20 - Obscura

Tell me you didn't see it coming with Lana's physic abilities.I mean everytime the poor girl turns around she is getting a "mild concussion" .How cool would that be though to see through somebody else's eyes.I mean every good thing comes with bad, I mean you probably wouldn't want to look through the eyes of criminals.Of course that would be very useful for people like the police.

Here we go again with more trouble for Chloe .You would have to think that all this stuff that happens to both her and the others, would make you a little wacko...don't you think?I know being buried alive would definitely give me issues.Thank god for Clark though, he manages to always get there just in the nick of time.Even with Lana , he not only saved her once from the bullet, but also from the glass that was coming down.Nice triple save there Clark.

I know some people at this point in the season is probably thinking why don't Johnathan just give Lex a break.Even though I have watched all the seasons, I still understood Johnathan's decision and views.He has so much that he wants to protect and Lex keeps giving him doubts about what kind of person he is.

I know the Chlark fans really loved the last part and I was happy for Chloe as well.Even though I am a Clana fan , I was happy to see the look in her eyes when Clark asked her to the Spring Formal.I think they both needed a break from the Drama.

Episode 19 - Crush

I have to start out by saying ...Ouch!!That would a horrible pain don't you think?I know dumb question right? I am not saying that revenge is not sweet , but taking it that far is a little too extreme.I would imagine you would have evil thoughts toward the people you feel responsible for doing something like that to.

Poor Chloe is always falling for the wrong guy isn't she?It showed how devoted she is towards her friends though didn't it.The way she sent Justin (Adam Brody) those e-mails while he was recovering.Did love the way everything floated when she kissed him.Oh and I have to say the person who really sketched those pictures was very talented.

You could definitely understand Lex's hesitation about reuniting with his childhood nanny .I mean the way his father raised him to always be skeptical of people.Then he of course his father had lied to him all those years about why she left.Thank goodness at least he realized it before she passed.

Last but not least I have to say I felt sorry for Whitney about his Dad and also Principal Kwan for having to pay for his son's mistakes.

Episode 18 - Drone

Again with a perfect job on casting don't you think?I mean Sasha (Shonda Farr) was totally convincing in her part as a obsessed over achiever.To have control over something like bees would make a pretty nasty ability to have and to get to unleash them on your enemies.Just think about letting them loose on all the criminals in the jails around the world.You can't tell me that it wouldn't cut down on crime.lol

I really felt for Chloe and her position she had to take on who she would support for class president.I can see myself getting mad like Clark did at first , but I thought it really showed Chloe's integrity.Yes always be supportive of your friends, but don't forget about the issues at hand either.

You got to love all the manipulating that comes with being a Luther.Just when you think that someone is going to get the best of Lex.He always manages to not only pull himself out of it, but also come way ahead.Of course no one I know could ever do justice to the part like Michael Rosenbaum does.Charismatic ,mysterious and looks is the very definition of what we all either want or admire in a bad boy and Michael always does that to perfection.

Episode 17 - Reaper

O.k I have always thought that terminally ill people should not have to go through alot of pain and suffering , but I believe this takes it to a whole other level.I mean to be able to touch somebody and they just go into ashes is a little to scary of an ability to think about.If he had a truly evil heart, could you imagine what all he could have gotten away with in the world.Even Clark as strong as he is felt the life being drained from him.

How do you guys feel about assisted suicide ?Do you think that you are really doing a good thing by putting the person out of pain or do you think it should be a higher power's decision when your time is up?

I did like the last part and what Lex did for Whitney and his dad.Of course it was all Clark who asked him to do it and that is just what makes Clark Super in my book.

Episode 16 - Stray

I really loved this episode because of the relationship/bond that was formed between Clark and Ryan.I myself always wished I had a brother, don't get me wrong I love my sister.It's just that I wished I had a brother to and funny story is that my sister wished me here.She always said that she would pray and wish that our mom would have her a baby brother and here I am.lol

You could just see how happy that Ryan made the whole Kent family, not just Clark.I felt so bad thinking what it would have been like for him to have his gifts and be trapped to live with such an evil pair of people.I mean did you see how his stepfather just blew away his wife and then a harmless janitor without a second glance.Although I have thought it would be nice to be able to know what others are thinking.I believe there is some stuff in people's minds that is better left there.

The last part was both sad and sweet in the way that Ryan told Clark he didn't need his Warrior Angel comics anymore because he had him.

Episode 15 - Nicodemus

Let me start by saying that if you are not a Clana fan , you probably will not like this blog entry.lol. Believe me when I say that I would never knock another person's ship , but this is who I think Clark is destined to be with.I think everybody sees the show differently and maybe they can see Clark being happier with a different person.That's what I think is great about this show that we can all have different opinions, but still the love of the show unites us all.

O.k now the episode, wow does the flower pack a punch or what?I mean it made Johnathan shoot Clark ,Pete go postal on Lex and of course gave Lana the balls ..hehe..to say and do what she had always wanted to , but didn't have the nerve to do.Even though it was a little harsh when she told Whitney that he was no fun anymore, with all the stuff he is going through with his dad.I still loved both the scenes with Clark and Lex.When she told Lex that he just got into the partnership with the Talon because she asked him to.I bet that part made the Lexana (Lex+Lana) fans go wild.

I think Clark was both in heaven and about to lose it when Lana did her little strip tease seduction on him.Just goes to show you what her secret desires are , as we didn't know at this point.lol.It is actually funny how Clark gets more action than most high school guys by all the strange things that go on in Smallville.I mean Chloe kissing him in Hug and now Lana lip locking with him.

The end was great in my opinion with Clark braving his fear of heights so he could help Lana overcome her fear as well.

Episode 14 - Zero

We finally get to see a glimpse of Lex's deep dark past that we had only gotten hints about before this episode.If you look back on the episodes leading up to this one , you will find references to what happen in this episode.Sam Phelan had mentioned to Lex about Club Zero in Rogue and I think there was something else in another episode mentioning this, but can't remember it right now.lol

I will have to say that if you want to really get someone's attention..send them a hand.Now that's what I call seriously messing with somebody's head.No wonder Lex has issues , first being raised by a dominate Father who always challenged him to be ruthless and then all the enemies he has made repaying old grudges.

On a happier topic though , the Talon opened in style and I thought it was very cool when Clark gave Lana that picture that was his grandfather's.Of course I always look for a deeper meaning to all things Smallville. So I think that it was not only a very sweet gift , but also another way for Clark to feel connected to Lana.

Episode 13 - Kinetic

Here is another case of how believable the show is in my opinion.Put yourself in Whitney's shoes and you can understand why he was tempted to the dark side.Living in a small town most of my life myself, I can definitely relate to what he was feeling.I never was the star of the football team , but I still wanted to go out in the world and not be stuck in one place.

Poor Chloe, talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time.It shouldn't surprise us though too much with it happening at the Luther Mansion and how many enemies the Luthers have.I am just glad that it didn't kill her and it's a wonder it didn't with how much of a fall it was.My heart really went out to Clark to because of the way he was beating himself up for not being there.

So it begins the partnership between Lana and Lex with running the Talon.I understand and respect Lana for stepping up to save the Talon, but does she really know what she is getting herself into with this new endeavor.

Episode 12 - Leech

Hello everyone, sorry I hadn't been around for a few days.I have been uploading screencaps on my new screencaps website.I hope you guys will check it out Free Screencaps Directory .I already have episodes 1 - 13 of season 1 and I work on it everyday, so there will be more very soon.

O.k now to the episode... first off that would really suck as far as having these amazing powers and then someone snatching them.I could definitely see what Johnathan was telling Clark about why Eric (Shawn Ashmore) was consumed by Clark's powers and Clark never did.The Kent's are the ideal family in my opinion and have raised Clark to be a very loyal and caring person.

As for Eric though , you can understand why he feels he has to lash out with the powers.He has a very strict father and once again is not seen as one of the more popular kids in school.So you can definitely see why he just wants to stand out and be noticed.Of course he does it in the wrong way, but I know I felt that way in high school and I would have probably wanted to get back at some people to, if I had such powers.Thank God I had a great Mom that supported me and taught me to be strong and not worry what others thought of me.

I really enjoyed getting to see Clark have fun for a change.Like Lana told him that he didn't look like he had the weight of the world on his shoulders.Think about having that much responsibility and never being able just to relax and have fun.I mean even when he was getting hurt and losing at basketball, he was still having the time of his life.

Didn't you just love the way that just when Victoria and Sir Harry thought they had the upper hand on Lex , he pulls one on them.Oh and when he tells Victoria that she better go check on her father because he didn't look well...hahaha

Episode 11 - Hug

First off I want to say that I loved what Clark said at the beginning when him, Lana and Chloe were riding horses.Clark and Lana was talking about careers when they got older.Clark said that he didn't want to be a farmer and that as long as the job didn't require wearing a suit and flying around it would be alright or something like that.lol.Oh and of course the joke that usually comes up about Clark being afraid of heights.I think that is a great part of Smallville.

O.k now for the episode...I have to admit this ability would be very tempting to have.I mean to touch someone and they do whatever you want them to...humm.Of course with any of these cool abilities there is always an evil person waiting to use it.Could you only imagine if you were for example a car salesman.You would probably put everyone in the county in debt with this.

Anyone else notice the way it's creatively added into a lot of the conversations about loyalty and friendship.Where Kyle tells Clark why he thinks it's bad to have friends, Because they will always betray you in the end.Now who do you think they are referring to here..maybe Clark and Lex.Yes they are friends now , but you can see where Lex's curiosity about Clark could ultimately cost him their friendship.

I bet the Chlark (Clark + Chloe) fans loved this part and even though she was under the meteor influence , deep down so did Chloe.lol .On the next part did you see how much fun Lex had shooting Clark.I know he was also under the meteor influence , but he almost seemed joyous.I did love the line he delivered once he saw Clark speed Kyle to safety..Clark you got some explaining to do. (Lucy Reference)

The end was pretty cool with both the talks between Lana/Clark and Lex Clark.First Lana telling Clark that they would be friends for a long time.Then with Lex you notice when Clark asks if Lex thinks that himself and Lex would end up like Kyle and Rickman as far as friendship goes.To which Lex replied...Trust me Clark our friendship is going to be the stuff of legends.

Episode 10 - Shimmer

Here is another example of the great writing on the show in my opinion.The abilities that the meteor infected or meteor enhanced people have really go with their personalities.I guess I always put myself in the person's shoes when I am watching an episode.When I was in high school I wasn't in the popular crowd and sometime's you really can feel invisible.Not that I minded though , I think by not being Mr. Popular made me a more humble person.

Of course I couldn't write about this episode and not post this picture..*Drooling*. If you haven't figured it out by now I am totally in love with Tom Welling.Not for just the reasons you are thinking either.I mean I of course think he is the hottest guy in the world, but I also get mesmerized watching his acting.O.k I will get back to the episode now.

I am what you call a Clana Fan (Clark + Lana) and I guess always have been.I mean when I first started watching Smallville , it was not because it was a show about Superman.I was drawn in by the amazing actors/actresses and the storyline.The reason I am such a Clana fan is because of how much you can feel the passion between them.That longing to be with someone that totally completes you.

Talk about running someone out of town, I think after I almost got drowned by an invisible person.I think I would be wanting to get out of there to.I loved the back and forth as always with Lex and Lionel , they always say the funniest things to each other.I would say that being a Luther would require you having a thick skin and be able to swim with piranhas.

Once again we get to further see how much of a noble person Clark Kent really is.I mean when he had his chance with Lana and chooses not to act on it.He instead tries to help by being a mediator between Lana and Whitney.Is there really anybody left in the world like this I wonder?Truly selfless and willing to do anything to protect the people they care about.

So once again Clark makes sure the day is saved for everyone , but when will Clark's day come to be saved?

Episode 9 - Rogue

I tell ya can't a guy get a break from saving the world? As Chloe states in later episodes..not if your Clark Kent you can't.Oh and you know by now that Clark is so sick of Whitney always being right there whenever he tries to get close to Lana.Definitely in my opinion one of the best scenes of season 1 where Clark stops the bus to save not only the driver, but a homeless man and his dog. ;O)

Lex Luther the international playboy I tell you.Being that I am gay I was always wishing to have the kind of money that guys would be throwing themselves at me..haha.I am not saying though with Lex that it is just about the money.I can see how the women are drawn to him with all his charm and charisma.

One of the top reasons I love Chloe is the same one that seems to always get her in trouble.Here she tries to be a hard hitting journalist and her reward for that would of course be ..losing her job at the Torch.I really did see Lana trying to help her get her position back , but at the same time I can imagine what she was feeling.If you haven't caught on to this yet, she has a major crush on Clark and as much as she tries to hide it.Is completely jealous of Clark's infatuation with Lana.Loved the end where they tell each other that when it comes to Clark they are both just friends with him, even though we all know they both want more.

Could you imagine having all the worries and problems that Clark has.Not only does he worry about helping people, he constantly has to look over his shoulder to make sure someone's not out to ruin his life.Talk about having some leveridge on somebody like Phelan had on Clark.I really had thought that Clark had a good plan with trying to set Phelan up.Only bad thing is that because he is a dirty cop , he knew just how to spin it and frame Jonathan.

Of course Phelan seriously underestimated Clark's strength and smarts.Gotta love the line where Phelan says you maybe strong ,but your not bulletproof.He really don't know Clark very well does he and we get to see some of Lex's true intentions when he asks Phelan what he has on Clark and the end shot with him starring at the video surveillance.

Episode 8 -Jitters

Man do the Luthers ever have some freaky stuff going on down at the plant or what??Poor Earl (oh no that sound's like that Dixie Chick's song..haha) , I mean talk about a bad ability to pick up from the meteor based experiments.Shaking like that all the time and the way he accidentally killed his friend at the beginning by shaking him and breaking his neck.

Oh and how irresponsible of our young Clark to throw a Party while his parents are away celebrating the anniversary. ..Yeah Right..haha.You know you either did the same or at least wanted to do that when you were/are a teenager.lol.Oh and you gotta love the fact that Clark says a small party..haha..there is no such thing in High School.

I loved the line where Martha and Johnathan are in the restaurant and Martha responds to him about if she misses Metropolis.She tells him that he had told her that they would never be rich or travel the world,but he would always love her.Now that is what you should be telling the person you love, IMO.

I loved the above (picture) scene because you can tell by the look on Lex's face that he realizes that his Father lied to him about there being a level 3 to the Luther Plant.Now we get a glimpse of how evil the Luther blood line goes and how far they would go to cover up anything that would make them look bad.I have to admit that as financially challenged as I have always been, the idea of having the kind of money that you could just make things go away..sounds tempting.lol.No I am not turning to the dark side or anything , but I will agree with the philosophy that money is Power.Not to say that it don't come with a price either though, I guess I will probably be like the Kent's ..poor but happy. ;O)

Episode 7 - Craving

Talk about your super powered diet shake with a nasty kick.Although what Jody done in this episode was completely wrong, I still have to say that I really felt sorry for her.All my life I have struggled with weight issues myself as I am sure a lot of other people have.How freaky was it when she kneels in the road and devours that deer?

I swear it seems that almost all the younger people of Smallville are cursed when it comes to love and relationships (besides the obvious fact that most of them are also meteor infected).Clark , Chloe and Pete always seem to get just a glimpse of love and happiness.Than out of blue something messes it up , as poor Pete encountered the night of Lana's Birthday Party.I think they would have made a nice couple (Jody and Pete),if she didn't want to constantly be trying to suck out all his body fat that is.

The last part was cool in my opinion, that Clark would take his Mother's advice on what to get Lana. She had told him to get her something from his heart and Lana had shared that memory of how happy she was when she was little and went to the drive-in with her parents.So Clark goes and turns the Barn with the help of the Kent's truck (movie projector attached)into the Kent Drive-In for Lana.

Episode 6 - Hourglass

Let me start off by asking a question - Would you want to be able to see the future?I could see wanting to do it for the same reasons Clark did .To be able to maybe save people closest to you , but do you think you can really cheat fate and make a new destiny or will fate still get you one way or another regardless.

On the other topic of this episode about turning back the hands of time.What would you do with this new found youth?I mean to me that poses the same ultimate question as the above topic of seeing the future.Do you think you would have learned from your mistakes from when you was younger before or would your fate still be the same.

O.k now away from the deep thoughts and on to the episode itself. I love the actress (Jackie Burroughs) that played Cassandra and always thought she was so convincing in other things I have seen her in.It was very cool to see Clark find a close friendship with her and even Clark saying it at the end of the episode.

Cassandra telling him at the first part that someone close to him would die.Then at the end when he walked in and found out that she had pasted away (after dying of shock at seeing the future with Lex destroying everything he touches).Clark then says that she was able to tell her own future , meaning that Clark had become close to her.

Now on to Harry's (Young: Eric Christian Olsen and Old: George Murdock) revenge on the children of the people who put him away for murder.I thought it was a great storyline to think that someone would make the present generation pay for something their parents and grandparents had done.Again I have to say very believable that someone in real life would do this , if it was possible to go back in time.

I hope everybody enjoys reading my blogs as much as I love posting them.I work like 12-16 hours a day sometimes on my work and Smallville is my favorite escape.I can re-watch the seasons a million times and everytime is as exciting to me as if I was watching them for the first time.

Episode 5 - Cool

Talk about guy's being dogs toward women,but Shawn took that to a whole other level.I mean he was well aware what he was going to do at Jenna's house and he really didn't have any emotion about it except telling her that he was sorry,but he didn't have any other choice.

Lame excuse there is alway a choice better than freezing and killing people.Meteor rock (What most people would call Kryptonite ) really does pack a punch on your mental status as well as your special ability.I mean it turns the slightly off person into a full out nut job with very dangerous motives.

O.k I guess enough about Shawn, as anybody could say he was a certifiable freak!!Poor Chloe and her search for love and in some ways I think we could all say that we have felt the way she did at some point in our lives.To be on cloud 9 when that person that you have either been lusting after or just had a crush on finally notices you.

Then sadly finding out that some people just want to use you in one way or another.In Chloe's case it was going to be her becoming a human fireplace for her meteor infected crush.Thank god Clark was able to save her from a Popsicle fate.

I will admit I am a die hard fan of Clana (Clark+Lana) , but I would never try to dis anybody else's preference for who they think would be best romantically for Clark.That being said I really felt so bad for Clark in these early episodes because like a lot of people I have had my heart broken before. Also wanting to be with someone that was just out of reach like Clark and Lana.

The price of being a hero I guess , but nonetheless it still really sucks.You can just see the hurt and deep love he feels for Lana , but of course there is always something that gets in the way.

Another episode that you really wanted to believe Lex was trying to break away from his Father's evil ways.At least for me anyways and Clark the ever trusting friend.To have friends that believe and have your back, even when just about everybody is giving up on them.

So come on guys and comment on my blogs and let's discuss all your thought's.I am not one of those people that feel they have to be right on all their opinions.I am very open minded to all kinds of scenario's when it comes to Smallville and other things as well.

Episode 4 - X-Ray

First off I want to say that X-Ray vision would be an awesome ability to have...get your mind's out of the gutter.No but seriously for doing good like Clark uses it for.I mean that would save a lot of time waiting at the docter's office ,now wouldn't it?

What about Clark the little perv ..haha.After he falls off the rope from getting freaked by seeing Pete from a different point of view.His eye's then proceed to oogle their way through the wall to get a glimpse of the girls locker room with Lana being one of those girls.

(Side Note: Did you notice what was playing at the Talon -The Lost Boys.Man I loved that movie when it came out.lol)

O.k now what about meteor infected shape shifting Tina Greer.Although that would be another very cool ability to have, I also think you could really get into some deep trouble with it.Sure you would be able to fool some people completely,but people closest to you would definitely figure it out.

Didn't you also think that the cast did a great job as far as playing Tina playing themselves.Once again I will say it about how extremely talented I think the cast and writer's are.

My Favorite Line was between Clark and his Mom.Clark - Mom, if you could see anything what would you do? Martha - Learn to close my eyes.My feeling's on why is because Clark once again saves Lana and Whitney is the one that gets to comfort her.I felt that she was letting Clark know that a lot of painful things happen in life and some is better not seen.

Episode 3 - Hothead

Can we all say ... Anger Management !!!

I think one of the key things that got me hooked from the beginning is what creative minds are behind the writing for Smallville.

I mean like the Meteor Rock that was in with the hot coals in the Coach's steam room.Think about a minute ,you could really see that happening in real life.

I mean that to, think about the novelty of being a town that was hit by a Meteor Shower.People of the town would definitely market that to every angle.My point is that they would sell everything with meteor rocks in it to make money.

That's why everything to me seems so believable in every episode.Because the writers think of it all.O.k back to the episode ...

I was glad to see both Clark and Lana strive for independence in this episode.I'm not saying that Jonathan didn't have good reason to worry , but Clark needed to find out some mistakes on his own. (Hopefully not at the expense of anybody's life though.)

I also loved all the one liners that Lex and Lionel share when they are duking it out. One of my favorite's is when they are fencing and Lionel is trying to give Lex some advice - Lex says - "If I wanted your commentary I'd buy one of your book's on tape"

Episode 2 - Metamorphosis

Again Lex at this time seems real genuine about wanting to help Clark in his pursuit to win Lana's Heart away from Whitney.

Poor Clark and his endless amount of doing the right thing.He saves the dumba*s that strung him up in a corn field to freeze to death (Whitney).He saves Lana and of course Whitney end's up getting the credit.Scary to say , but in the world we live in.I could see this really happening.Maybe not exactly like it did here , but along the same lines.

The true aspect of Clark's love and devotion to Lana at the end.I mean he finds out the effect that meteor rock's have on him and still returns Lana's necklace made with a prism shaped meteor rock to her.Because even though it hurts him , he still knows how much it means to her.

Season 1 - Pilot Episode

After watching this for the like a millionth time .lol

I will say that things were definitely a lot simpler back then...

Lana had a minnie mouse voice and was a happy little cheerleader with a jealous boyfriend (Whitney).

Clark was just trying to fit in and trying to get on the football team so he would not be branded that year's freshman scarecrow.

Chloe was a bouncy news hungry reporter looking for that next great meteor freak story.

I have to say that at this time my heart really went out to Lex.I mean it really seemed that he wanted to get out of his father's shadow and be a stand up kinda guy.

* On a personal note though - Even though it was sad seeing Clark strung up there , I loved seeing the first shirtless Clark episode again.. droool

Gotta love how Clark got even with Whitney for doing that to him also. **evil laugh**

The end was just great with the first great Clana Moment.Lana saving Clark a dance up in barn to one of my all time favorite songs - Everything by Lifehouse.(Even if it was just a daydream fantasy for Clark , it was still cool) thumbs up!!
